Yogoda Satsanga Sakha Ashram Dwarahat celebrated the Avirbhav Divas of Swami Sri Yukteswarji on May 10, 2019.
Swami Lalitananda led the commemoration satsanga which included Energization Exercises chanting, meditation, and a spiritual discourse.
Beginning his satsanga by quoting Sri Mrinalini Mata on devotion as the most important ingredient of such celebrations, he said that the main purpose was to be in tune with the tremendous vibrations and blessings present on such special days. He quoted the passages from Gurudeva Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi where Sri Yukteswarji shares with Guruji the external details of his life, and explained how the external details of a Jnanavatar cannot bring to light his internal stature.
Swamiji also quoted passages from the Autobiography of a Yogi about the meeting of Mahavtar Babaji and Swami Sri Yukteswarji at the Kumbha Mela that led to three things: Babaji bestowing the title of ‘sannyasi’ (monastic) on Sri Yukteswarji though he was a householder at that time; his promise to send a disciple for training who would be sent to the West; and the request to write the book, The Holy Science.
Citing Swami Sri Yukteswarji's conclusion in his book, The Holy Science, Swamiji explained that though he was a Jnanavatar, even Yukteswarji stressed on the need to develop the natural love of the heart.
The programme closed with aarti and pushpanjali with bhajans led by Brahmachari Nirliptananda.
