In a recent event at Dwarahat, Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) distributed twenty-five tablets to selected meritorious girl students from Dwarahat and Suraikhet Intercollege. These students belong to families with limited financial means. Almora District Magistrate Ms Vandana Singh was the chief guest for the event which was conducted at Yogoda Satsanga Sadhana Sthali at Dwarahat. In her address, she encouraged the girls to never accept defeat and to work hard towards their goals. Later she interacted with the students and answered some of their questions.

Swami Lalitananda thanked Ms Singh for taking the time from her busy schedule and gracing the occasion. YSS monastics introduced the chief guest about the organization, the Gurudeva and Founder, and the YSS Gurus.
