Yogoda Satsanga Sakha Ashram, Dwarahat conducted a three-day, free medical camp for the residents of Dwarahat town and the neighbouring villages from April 19 to 21, 2025.
Apart from the main camp at YSS Dwarahat ashram, sub-camps were also held in two remote villages – Suraikhet and Kholiyabaj. Over the three days, more than 2,000 people from the Dwarahat region benefitted from the camp. People came from distant villages such as Gagash, Chaukhutiya, Rampur, Naubada, Bagwalipokhar, and even far off places like Someshwar (30 km away), Masi, Mahalchauri, and Khida (40 km away).
The camp activities began early morning with prayers.
A team of 22 specialist doctors and 6 paramedics from various parts of the country including Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Bareilly, Noida, Mumbai, and Surat participated.
Services were provided for cardiac, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, orthopedic, paediatric, general medicine, physiotherapy, and technical areas like optometry and pathology. Homeopathy medicines were also provided. This time, two paediatric and four eye specialists and a dermatologist participated.
As always, pathology tests and medicines were provided free of cost.
Many devotees, local volunteers, and 30 students from Dwarahat Engineering College, along with other local students, served with great love and sincerity to make the camp a success.
