Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) completed 100 years on March 22, 2017. The year after that has been celebrated as the Centenary year of the spiritual organization founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananada through various commemorative programmes across India. YSS Dwarahat Ashram organised a special programme on March 31, 2018 to markl the Centenary Closing.
Brahmachari Nirliptanandaji led the meditation, chanting and bhajans at the start of the programme. Swamis Nityanandaji and Vasudevanandaji gave satsanga on the history of YSS and the expansion of its activities over the years. The programme concluded with pushpanjali by the devotees accompanied by soulful bhajans, followed by the distribution of prasad.
As it coincided with the first day of the bi-annual free Medical Camp (which had started in the morning of the said day with over 500 patients), the entire team of volunteer doctors and supporting members of the Camp as well as local devotees participated in the evening programme.
